FAQ
- How do I activate?
- Install the plugin, open it in your DAW (or run the Standalone), enter the email + password you used at checkout, paste the license key from your licenses page, and click Activate. That's the whole flow.
- I bought it but never got a license key.
- Sign in at /account/licenses — every key issued to you lives there permanently. The order confirmation email also includes it. If neither shows the key, contact us.
- Can I move my license to a new computer?
- Yes. Each license allows three concurrent activations. From your licenses page, click Deactivate on the machine you don't use anymore — that frees a slot — then activate the new one. The deactivated machine stops working at its next online check (up to 7 days for subscription, 30 for perpetual).
- I bought a perpetual license. Will it stop working?
- No. Perpetual is forever, including free updates within the same major version. The plugin only checks in occasionally, silently, to confirm the license isn't admin-disabled. If you stay offline for years it keeps playing.
- Where do I cancel a subscription?
- Open /account/billing and click Manage in Stripe — the customer portal lets you cancel, switch plans, or update your card. Your plugin keeps working until the end of the current paid period; after that, the next online check sees the cancellation and switches to read-only.
- Do you offer refunds?
- We don't generally offer refunds. The free 14-day demo is the trial — please use it to confirm the plugin works for you before buying. If the software has a genuine defect that prevents normal use, contact us at /contact and we'll work with you to resolve it.
- What's TwinGear Cloud and is it included?
- TwinGear Cloud is the upcoming custom-training service: you capture your own gear with our sweep protocol, upload the recordings, and we return an encrypted
.napxmodule bound to your account. It loads into Twin-GTR (and every future custom-gear-capable plugin in the line) like the bundled twins do. Separate from buying Twin-GTR itself — Twin-GTR works fully with its 12 included twins, with or without Cloud. Releases 2026 Q3, pricing TBD. - I started a 14-day trial — can I extend it?
- Trials are 14 calendar days from first launch. Once the timer runs out it can't be reset on the same machine. Buying a license replaces the trial immediately, no reinstall needed.
- Do you support AAX (Pro Tools)?
- Not yet — AAX is on the roadmap. Every plugin currently ships as VST3 and AU, which covers Logic, Cubase, Ableton, Reaper, Studio One, Bitwig, and most other major DAWs. Pro Tools support will arrive in a later update.
