The DNA of the gear that defined modern records — captured, parameter by parameter, by AI. Now native in your DAW.
Why we build it
For decades, the saturation, the punch, the strange and beautiful distortion of vintage hardware shaped every record we love. None of it can be faked with a one-knob “warmth” plug-in.
noshigeSound exists to bring that magic — every nonlinearity, every stubborn personality — to every DAW user, without compromise. Not a snapshot. The gear itself, in plugin form.
Not a snapshot, the gear itself. Each plugin is built around an AI model that learns how the original hardware responds across its entire control range.
The natural saturation, intermodulation, and dynamic curves that make analog gear sound like analog gear — preserved, not approximated.
Real-time visual feedback that mirrors the reference units, including ballistics that match how the originals actually move.
Internal processing at master-grade resolution. Zero compromise from input to render — every plugin runs the same pipeline.
Low frequencies are the easiest thing to get wrong. Every model is tuned against the original hardware until the bottom octave matches by ear.
CPU-efficient DSP. Run dozens of instances per session. macOS and Windows. VST3 and AU. No exotic install steps.

TwinGear · Twin-GTR

Twin-GTR is built for one kind of guitarist — the one who refuses to settle for “good enough.”
Every gear inside it was trained, built, and runs only at 96 kHz. No resampling. No upsampling tax. The pipeline you hear is the pipeline that was modeled — and Twin-GTR will not load at 44.1, 48, 88.2, or 192 kHz. Set your DAW project to 96 kHz before opening the plugin.
Twin-GTR is still a newborn — twelve straightforward preset gears, nothing more. But the sound is real, all the way down. Pick it up and hear it for yourself.
TwinGear Cloud
A new noshigeSound service, currently in development. TwinGear will let you do three things:
Turn your own beloved gear into a fully parametric gear-twin — capture its DNA digitally, before time wears it out.
Keep your favourite hardware live inside your DAW, on any session, anywhere in the world.
Load those custom-trained gears straight into Twin-GTR. Your rig, twinned at 96 kHz.
About noshigeSound
noshigeSound exists because the gear that defines our records is hard to find, hard to maintain, and impossible to scale to every session. We don't want to fake it. We want to keep it.
Every plugin starts with hardware on the bench, captured by an AI parametric model — every knob, every nonlinearity, every component drift. The output is the gear itself, in plugin form.
Same approach, different shapes: noshige76 is a FET-style peak limiter; noshige2A is a program-dependent optical leveler; Twin-GTR bundles guitar amps, cabs, and pedals as a full chain.
Quality over quantity
One plugin at a time, finished against the hardware until it sounds right.
Old iron meets new intelligence
Vintage hardware shaped by decades on real records, captured by the latest in machine learning. The past, ported forward — not replaced.
The sound that just works.
Our design philosophy. If it doesn't pass the bypass test, it doesn't ship.
