TwinGear Cloud
Capture your gear.
Twin it forever.
You record the response of the amp, preamp, or pedal you already own. TwinGear Cloud trains a full parametric model at 96 kHz and returns a custom .napx module — encrypted end-to-end and bound to your account — that loads into Twin-GTR and every future custom-gear-capable plugin in the TwinGear line.
- 01
Capture, on your end.
Record your gear with the TwinGear sweep files at 96 kHz / 24-bit. Standard audio interface, your normal cabling — no specialised hardware required. We publish the capture protocol so the recordings come back consistent every time.
- 02
Upload — cloud trains the twin.
Drop the captures into your account. GPU-accelerated training learns the gear's complete parameter space at 96 kHz — not a snapshot, a full parametric model that responds to every knob the way the original does.
- 03
Download your encrypted .napx.
When training finishes you get an email. Download the .napx — encrypted end-to-end and bound to your account, so only you can load it. Drop it into any Twin-GTR slot, or any future custom-gear-capable plugin in the TwinGear line.
Why bother
- The exact piece of gear you own — captured the way you use it, not a community preset.
- Survives the hardware breaking, drying out, getting sold, or going out of production.
- Loads in any Twin-GTR slot (and in every future TwinGear-line plugin that supports custom
.napxmodules) — same workflow, your sound.
FAQ snippets
- When does it open?
- 2026 Q3. Exact dates and pricing get published before the doors open.
- Do I have to ship my gear?
- No. You record it yourself with our capture protocol — a standard audio interface and the supplied sweep files are all you need. Your gear never leaves your room.
- Who can load my custom .napx?
- Only you. Each
.napxis encrypted and account-bound — the file is useless to anyone else, even if it leaks. - Is it included with Twin-GTR?
- Separate service. Twin-GTR works fully on its 12 bundled gear twins; Cloud is for adding your hardware on top. Pricing model TBA.
